The Shape of Water

A variation on a quote by Heraclitus is: “No person ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and they are not the same person.” We change as we grow into new experiences, embodying a growth mindset. As we begin our monthly theme of change, we can use our own journey to model change for others. During the service, we will invite the congregation to participate in question poetry in the spirit of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. We will also formally welcome our newest members! Led by Brenna Clanton, Ministerial Intern, with Adrian Graham, Director of Congregational Engagement, and Rev. Dr. Rebekah A. Savage. Special music by the UUCR Community Choir; Justin Furnia on piano.
