The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville is looking for a personable, efficient, and reliable Congregational Administrator. The salary is in compliance with UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association) recommended compensation and benefits. The successful candidate will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the ministers, staff, and board of trustees have adequate support to work efficiently.

Coordinate office activities and operations
Coordinate with ministers, staff, board of trustees, and congregational committees to ensure administrative needs are met
Maintain financial records of the congregation, and manage office and facilities budgets
Manage payroll, benefits, and personnel files for ministers and staff
Coordinate with rentals program
Proven experience as an office administrator or similar relevant role
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of office management procedures and basic financial management principles
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google applications, calendaring software, and QuickBooks
High school diploma; BS/BA is preferred

We are seeking a Religious Education Assistant/Youth Coordinator who is enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented to enhance the robust Religious Education program at UUCR. Flexibility, reliability, friendliness, and the ability to work on a team are key to the role. A liberal religious perspective is essential in our ministry to children and youth. Knowledge and experience of Unitarian Universalism is a plus. This position is based out of UUCR in Rockville, MD, with flexible hours and opportunities for telework.

This is a part-time position with 25 hours/week. Working from home may be negotiated for many work hours, with at least 5 office hours per week at the UUCR Religious Education office, and 3 Sunday mornings per month on site. Occasional evening and Saturday hours may be required.
$16.00 per hour, Personal Time Off, access to health and retirement benefits.
