Our religious education program is a cooperative program that depends upon volunteers. Volunteers are welcome at all levels of experience and commitment. Teacher/Helper Orientation and Training

Saturday, 9/11/08 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. New and veteran teachers are both encouraged to attend. Childcare will be provided.

Job Descriptions

Team Leader/Co-Leader
Calls team meetings, coordinates Sunday teaching assignments, with team plans the year using well-designed curriculum, responsible for teaching lesson minimum of one Sunday a month.
Teaching Team Member
Works with rest of team in carrying out class plans, responsible for teaching lesson minimum of one Sunday a month.
Helper
Assist team as agreed upon in or out of class: helping in classroom, telephoning, snack schedule, class letters.
Substitute
Teach class on occasional or emergency basis.
The Religious Education Committee and Religious Education Director provide support and resources to the teaching teams.
